What we collect
When you request an audit or send a message, we collect the details you give us: your name, firm name, email address, phone number if you provide it, your firm's website, your main practice area, the services you're interested in and any message you write.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the site secure and working. This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
The matter value calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter into it is sent to us.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare your audit. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To follow up about the audit and our services. Legitimate interests. As this is a business-to-business enquiry, you can ask us to stop at any time.
- To keep records if you become a client. Performance of a contract and legal obligations such as accounting and tax.
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We use trusted suppliers to run our business, such as our web host, email provider and customer relationship software. They process data only on our instructions. Some suppliers may store data outside the UK; where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
If you don't become a client, we keep enquiry details for up to two years, then delete them. Client records are kept for as long as needed for the work and for six years afterwards for legal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our use of it and, in some cases, to data portability. To use any of these rights, email info@puremarketing.uk. We'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
